Infrastructure and Automation
I’ve been using AWS, Azure, GCP from the outset and have a deep understanding of cloud networks, automation and scalability. I consult on how you can build your infrastructure so it first of all runs efficiently and within your cost range, but also allows for fast iterations.
Internal development processes
In case you want to optimise your CI/CD, testing, general automation or even how your engineering team works together with your product team, thats where I can help. Depending on the size of the team and needs that can range from working with the tech management to help overhaul their dev team structure, work with the engineers directly to see where to optimise internal processes or do workshops on different techniques. Basically if you feel like your development processes or the way product and engineering are working together aren’t optimal let me know and we can find a way to make it better.
Technology Outsourcing Management
Outsourcing your technology project involves a significant amount of work. Often companies outsource because they don’t have the in-house expertise to build the product themselves, which requires putting a lot of faith in the company or contractors you hire. I can help your company bridge the gap between your business goals and the final technology solution by making sure all the right questions are asked and answered.
During the planning and discovery stage, I can help craft your RFP, review and evaluate bids, and help select the right team for your project. During development, I can manage communications between companies and contractors, perform periodic code reviews, and manage scope. I can make sure that final sign off doesn’t happen until all the specs are met and that the product is properly documented and ready to be handed off.
